About Marco

I was born in Turin and I hold two degrees, one in languages and one in international relations. I have lived and worked in many countries, across every continent, so I know first-hand what it means to find your way through unfamiliar systems, paperwork and customs far from home. That experience shapes the patience I bring to every client.

I speak five languages — English, French, Italian, Spanish and Arabic — and I can relate to the challenge of arranging financing in another country, particularly when the banking system and its requirements are new to you. Working alongside Christina, I explain the Italian process in plain terms, so you are never left guessing about requirements, timelines or obligations.

Buying a home in Italy is as much an emotional step as a financial one. My job is to make the journey smooth, transparent and reassuring: personalised support and a professional, client-focused approach at every step.

I am based in Annecy, in the French Alps, about forty minutes from Geneva — close to many of the French and Swiss-based buyers Christina and I work with. The practice at christinacarey.it is Christina's: every file is set up and followed with her.
