I'm an American mortgage advisor based in Milan, and I've been navigating the Italian system as a foreigner for over ten years. Before Milan, I lived in Paris for five years — which is where I became fluent in French and where I developed a deep understanding of francophone clients' expectations.

I obtained Italian citizenship and bought my own apartment in Milan using an Italian mortgage — as a foreigner with no prior Italian credit history. I've been through exactly what my clients go through, which means I know precisely where the process gets hard and where it doesn't need to be.
